Our Climate Hub is OPEN!
๐ Well, we’ve been waiting years, but we finally have a Climate Hub in Stratford Town Centre. We opened on the 16th of May, and will be offering advice, reliable information, community events and opportunities to collaborate on climate issues, right in the centre of Stratford.ย
Email info@netzerostratford.org.ukย if you’re interested in volunteering or being involved.
We’re at 30 Meer Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6QB, and we’re open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am til 4pm.

Come to our From Pledges to Action Workshop on Wednesday June 12th, at the Climate Hub, 30 Meer Street, Stratford.ย
Net Zero Stratford is a not-for-profit project to create spaces for climate awareness and action in Stratford-upon-Avon. Learn more about our activities below, including a community kitchen, repair cafe, and annual festival, Great Big Green Week, as well as our plans for a climate hub. Or check out what our parent organisation, campaign group Stratford Climate Action, is up to.
Community Kitchen
Ken Kennett Centre, 100 Justin's Avenue
Every Friday, 5 - 7 pm
๐ Our community kitchen is open every Friday evening. Volunteers use surplus food from local supermarkets, to produce tasty, healthy meals on a pay as you feel basis – if you can’t afford to pay, you don’t have to, but donations are welcome.
If you’d like to help cook or serve the food, please get in touch. Unless already qualified, volunteers will have to complete a short, online Food Hygiene course, which we will pay for.ย Email kitchen@netzerostratford.org.uk to find out more.
Repair Cafe
Stratford Methodist Church, Old Town
First Saturday of every month, 10am-2pm
๐ Cafes will be on the first Saturday of every month for the rest of 2024: 10 am to 2 pm (last entry 1 pm). Refreshments are available and repairs are on a pay as you feel basis.
See the video for a quick look at how it works. You can check out our Facebook page in the week before the event to see the types of repair we’ll be able to tackle.
We’re looking for volunteers to join our growing team – especially electrical/mechanical repairers, and computer/I.T. repairers. Please email Charlotte atย volunteer@stratfordtowntrust.co.ukย to find out more.
In 2023 we were the lead organisation in hosting Great Big Green Week, a week of climate events put on by over 30 local organisations and groups, covering everything from food to eco-shopping, sustainable businesses to approaches to politics. We also put on a drop-in exhibition focused around Stratford Climate Action’s Pledge for the Planet campaign, and a vegan cooking demonstration.
